Campaign Content Selection With the release of Campaign Content Selection, we’ve created a brand new UI that makes it simpler than ever to select content when building out a new campaign. * The new card-style UI provides large previews and indicates who most recently modified a template helping you to quickly and accurately choose the right content. * With this you now have the ability to select from previous blast campaigns or existing workflow campaigns when creating a new campaign. The clear terminology lets you choose from base templates, campaigns, or workflow content, making it easy to build on past successful messages. Personalization Week, Day 2: Let’s Get Personal, share and win!

Share your best marketing moment of 2020 (so far!) To put it lightly, it’s been a weird year. As marketers, we’ve had to make a hard pivot to adapt to a COVID world and it hasn’t always been easy, but we’ve adjusted and should be proud of the work that we’re doing and celebrate the wins. Personalization Week, Day 2: Let's Talk Lifecycle Mapping (and win a prize!)

Let's Talk About Lifecycle Mapping When it comes to the modern-day lifecycle, there are two critical elements marketers need to consider: a guiding stage-by-stage framework and a readiness to respond when customers choose to go their own way. A comprehensive lifecycle is one born from methodical planning and customer-first creativity. For simplicity, we think about the lifecycle in three basic stages—activation, nurture and re-activation. Each stage has its own overarching purpose and objectives that customers must reach before advancing into the next one. Let's talk about workflow building To design truly immersive campaign experiences, marketers need freedom and flexibility—the freedom to create with full access to all customer-facing data and the flexibility to leverage it inside sophisticated workflows. Personalization Week, Day 5: Mistakes Happen, Don't Panic

If you make a marketing mistake, don't sweat it and learn from Drizly When done right, personalization can be a very engaging and powerful tool, when done wrong (by accident!) it can leave your subscribers scratching their heads and wanting more. Drizly knows this all too well when back in May they accidentally sent out this “personalized” email without any of the actual personalization. No first name, no personalized recommendations, just a whole lot of “Lorem Ipsum” and “xxx”. Ouch. The Apology This is the very scenario that keeps email marketers up at night, but instead of sending a canned and formal apology, the Drizly team took the opportunity to show that their brand has a personality and a sense of humor. Drizly quickly followed up by sending out an apology email, but this wasn’t your standard “oops we made a mistake“ email, this had everything. From the eye catching “lol. wtf was that.” subject line, to poking a little fun at themselves, blaming the dog, and lastly,
