Default Quiet Hours for New SMS Campaigns
To help prevent accidental overnight sends, Quiet Hours are now enabled by default for all new SMS campaigns.
- By default, SMS sends are paused from 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM, Monday through Sunday, using each recipient's local time when available. This applies to both marketing and transactional SMS campaigns.
- For time-sensitive transactional messages that need to send immediately after an event, Quiet Hours can be turned off on a campaign-by-campaign basis.
This update helps teams build safer SMS workflows by default while supporting compliance and customer experience best practices.
