Facebook Custom Audiences Integration

I've gone into Integrations and added out FB Ad Account but when I go to Click to Accept it sends me to the standard settings page in FB. I don't have any notifications like listed in support documentation to "respond to request" and give Iterable access. I've gone into the app permissions section and it says I have no app requests. Any one have any thoughts? It's showing the account in Iterable, I just can't get it to confirm the access. Thank you,Stacey

How do you map sensitive data not on Iterable with data available on Iterable?

Hi all, We are in the process of trying to serve users recommendations based on their city. However, we want to go one step further and show recommendations based on their postal code or longitude and latitude. We are not able to store sensitive user data, city being the exception, on Iterable. So I am trying to see if there is a way to be able to connect sensitive data not on Iterable to data we do store on Iterable. I am wondering if anyone else has come across this issue and has found a workaround or how other folks handle sensitive data?

Exporting custom event payload info

Wondering if anyone found a way to export custom event data , preferably alongside profile info, similar to how you can designate profile info fields and export that to csv. We have a custom event that is similar to an abandoned shopping cart and it would be tremendously helpful if we could export out audience members that have specific custom event payload values with the values that come in the payload.

Custom Events Filtering

Is there a way I can filter custom events by the data they're gathering? I. e. I have a custom event set up for users that fill out X parameter. I have the data of the people that this custom event gathers, but I'd like to export this and filter as I want to find trends. Is this possible?

View Source Code within the Drag & Drop builder

Hey guys,In my last company our ESP also used the BEE Plugin. Back then it was possible to access the source code of a text content item. THis feature seems to not exist anymore.Also, why does Iterable not show the "undo" button that usually comes with the BEE plugin?

Is there a way to page the export of users?

Hello!I've been looking at the user export API endpoint and wondering what will happen if I try to export millions of users? There is no paging option, I could end up in a situation where the server keeps timing out and I am unable to export all the users, as I can't do it bit by bit either.curl -H "Api-Key: ${ITERABLE_KEY}" 'https://api.iterable.com/api/export/data.json?dataTypeName=user&range=All&onlyFields=email'Any workarounds or ideas would be much appreciated.Ed

Dynamically pull in the "Message Type" as content in an email

It would be great to have the ability to use the message type of email templates dynamically in emails and snippets. For example, if my message type is "New Product Features" I'd love to be able to include {{messageType}} (or something similar) headers, the body copy of an email, in footers and also in snippets so the person receiving the email sees "New Product Features".

Journey Triggers

Would be helpful if we can trigger a journey based off a Subscribe (to message types/channels or to a segment) event. Only unsubscribe is available. Difficult to create a Welcome Series that catches all points of opt-in w/out a Subscribe event trigger.

Getting workflows data through API

Hi, I have two questions regarding API and workflows. 1. In the web UI we can checkout "Associated Workflow" for a given campaign. Is there a way to do the same through API? Campaign endpoint returns field workflow_id but it contains only nulls. 2. Current through the API we can only trigger workflow. Are there plans to create an endpoint with workflow data (names, nodes etc.)?

New wait criteria - System event based

I think a feature that would go a long way would be adding a new criterion to the "wait" tile based on system events. For example, "wait until 'in-app open'" to show another in-app or (more importantly) a Yes/no field. Right now, to get the same effect, you need to have a whole separate journey that is triggered by opening/clicking an in-app message.

Sending to Journey within a Journey and Maintaining Custom Event Data

If I have a journey triggered by a custom event, and that journey triggers another journey, is the 2nd journey custom data pulled from the custom event tied to the original journey, or does it come from the user profile… Ie: customer enrollment welcome triggered by custom event, if preferred customer stay in current journey, if associate send to this journey… Will the associate journey pull data from the original custom event (customer enrollment welcome trigger)? If not, and it pulls from user profile, can I send them to list membership to maintain the custom event information or will it still trigger from the user profile based on the email in the list?

I know we can construct segmentations in-app to search for users with a particular set of profile field values, but does an API endpoint exist that could return a list (possibly with profile data included) of results?

Anyone using Zapier to send Iterable email KPIs to lead or contact records in SFDC?

We're looking to send basic email event sdata (send, open, click, etc.) from Iterable to SalesForce. I asked our IT department and we already have a Zapier account, which I figured would work, but wondering if anyone else has done so and if yes, any pitfalls or tips to be aware of? I tried building a system webhook to Zapier, but having a hard time testing due to my lack of experience on Zapier.

Any way to show net new users in Dashboard or Reports?

I want to be able to see net new users added to Iterable for a given time period, and I'm okay with saying "give me everyone with a Signup Date in the past 7 days", but I don't see any way to add that to a Dashboard or a report. I thought that, failing a net new report, I could look at list or subscription growth, but no, those aren't available, either.How are others tracking overall user growth?

Using handlebars for custom events in Journey JSON?

I'm trying to record user source on the profile and would like to be very specific about it (form name if via form, survey name, import source, etc). Iterable has the very generic Import, API source types, but they don't tell me where that data came from in creating the user.I also want to make sure my recorded user source isn't overwritten, because it's no use recording the source if it's just going to be lost.So first step, I created two fields: userSource and lastSource. For each incoming source, a value gets written to lastSource, then a Journey picks up that profile change and does a quick check: is userSource set? If not, I set it equal to lastSource using the Update Profile tile and a JSON payload: { "userSource" : "{{lastSource}}" }That part works great. The part that's failing is when I try to use the same method to set lastSource.For example, I have a custom event called formSubmit and a datafield within called formName that contains the full form name as brought through the

How to import and subscribe to just one message type?

Hi all! I'm brand new to Iterable, so apologies in advance if I'm missing something obvious, but here's my situation.I have a list of users who have answered a survey saying they'd like a follow up message about beta testing product but did not select to opt in to other marketing comms.That list, however, is likely to contain pre-existing users in Iterable who have already set subscription preferences. I need to add them to the Beta Test message type while not messing up their existing preferences. Then, for the new users, I need to subscribe them to Beta Test and unsub them from all other message types.Any thoughts? Am I approaching this incorrectly?Thanks!--Trav
