We just launched Iterable’s new Unsubscribe from Limitations campaign, inspired by the everyday compromises and workarounds marketers have learned to accept from their technology.

If you’ve ever had to scale back a campaign idea because your tools, data, or channels couldn’t keep up, this one will probably feel familiar.

Think:

  • Personalization that isn’t actually personal
  • Sending a customer a message for something they already bought
  • Duplicate sends
  • Customer data that’s stale or just plain wrong
  • Channels that don’t talk to each other
  • Great campaign ideas getting watered down because the technology can’t support them
  • Endless manual workarounds that somehow become “just how we do things”

The campaign is really about challenging the idea that these limitations should be considered normal in the first place.

We’d love to hear from you: What’s one marketing limitation, workaround, or frustration you’d happily unsubscribe from? Maybe it’s something your team has solved, something you’re still working through, or something you think marketers should expect better from.

And if the campaign resonates, you can also join the conversation on LinkedIn and add your perspective on our CMO Priya Gill’s recent post.
