Job Title: Email Marketing Developer

Department: Marketing

Reporting Relationship: Director of CRM

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Accountable for meeting weekly, monthly and yearly forecast goals.
  • Expand automation program by developing and managing multi-touch campaigns including complex ad hoc campaigns and automations with dynamic content. This will include using drag-and-drop editors, html coding, journey building, QA and scheduling.
  • Implement A/B testing on automations; organize and analyze results on an ongoing basis.
  • Proactively audit critical automations on a daily, monthly or quarterly basis to ensure continued functionality.
  • Provide guidance on best approach for technical setup of all templates, Movable Ink modules, advanced personalization, Google annotations and customer journeys.
  • Apply best practices in email development and accessibility.
  • Ensure identical rendering across browsers, ESPs and devices, including mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot HTML, CSS and other performance issues; perform coding maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Iterable subject matter expert. Problem solve and scale solutions within Iterable to support business needs.
  • Coordinate with Data and Martech teams to define data requirements, process, workflow design and QA.
  • Coordinate creative briefs for automation projects by partnering with internal teams including Brand Marketing, Design and Loyalty.
  • Participate in campaign brainstorm sessions to develop triggered email programs/workflows in ESP to increase purchase frequency, maximize LTV and improve the sales funnel.
  • Exhibit high attention to detail and level of organization to deliver projects in a timely manner.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices in email development and accessibility; introduce new initiatives to meet revenue goals.
  • Own CRM documentation related to processes and tech stack.
     

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA or BS Degree - Required
  • HTML, CSS and JSON coding for email (including mobile devices) (1-3 yrs)
  • Experience orchestrating multi-touch campaigns including email, SMS, in-app, push and web notifications within ESP platforms (Iterable preferred) (1-3 yrs)
  • Must be comfortable with setting up dynamic content and personalization. Experience with personalization tools (Movable Ink) is a plus. (1-3 yrs)
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and display exceptional follow-through and initiative
  • Proficiency with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, etc), Microsoft Excel, Adobe
     

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

  • Must be able to sit at a desk for 8 hours
     

Pay: 80-110k DOE
