🚨Personalization Week Starts NOW! 🚨

Welcome to personalization week in the Iterable Community! We are so excited that you are joining us on the Path to Personalization. Whether you are just starting out in your personalization journey or or wanting to take your existing strategy to the next level, this week is about putting the pieces of the personalization puzzle together to help you achieve your goals.

We posit that there are four foundational pillars of personalization:
* User Segmentation: finding the perfect audience
* Lifecycle Mapping: creating immersive journeys
* Workflow Building: engaging at opportune moments
* Dynamic Content: connecting with tailored messaging

Each pillar represents a critical step of the personalization process and the more proficiently you’re able to master each one, the more marketing possibilities you unlock. Over the course of this week, we’re going to dive into each of these pillars so you can walk away with a scalable personalization framework.

Share a little about yourself, win a prize!

While this week will be full of ideas for your personalization strategy, it’s also about getting personal! Let’s kick this week off with a little icebreaker to get to know each other better: share in the comments section who you are, what company you’re with and one goal, personal or professional, that you’d like to accomplish by the end of the year.

Everyone that responds gets a pair of newly branded Iterable socks! Fall is quickly approaching, and these will warm your feet right up. 🙂

Got any questions about this week? Let me know in the comments!
Hi! 🙂 I'm Maxi and working for the KptnCook GmbH in Berlin, Germany as a Junior Marketing & CRM Manager.
I'm responsible for Iterable and the whole personalization process of the company. It's my first time working with such a platform and I'm excited to get to know all the possibilities and try them out.
My main goal for this year: Focusing on reaching more and more user personally and getting a better knowledge of CRM. Becoming a little Pro 😉
Hi, my name is Ryan and I'm working for a small company called Tespo as a Marketing Automation Analyst.

My goal is to get a better grasp of how we can leverage Dynamic Content in our emails. Hopefully to get to a point where we can pull different Snippets into an email based on the user's contact properties. 🙂
Hello, I'm Cora and I am managing CRM at HealthyWage.
My goal is to improve my Mobile app acumen (deep linking, in-app messaging, etc).
Hi there! My name is Daniela and I'm an email marketer for Aceable, an ed-tech startup out of Austin Texas - but I just recently moved to London.

My goal is to learn how we can better use data feeds to create automated personalized & dynamic content to meet the demands of our rapidly scaling company.
hey! I'm BK, Dir. of Growth Engineering at Tovala, a smart oven and fresh meal delivery service. By EOY, I'd like to be able to build up a testing cadence in our drip focused around high-level learnings around prospect and customer insights + doubling down on performance wins.
Hey I'm Hannah JV, and I'm an email marketing specialist at Bumped, a loyalty program that rewards users in shares of stock. My goal is to up my personalization game by the end of this year, so this week couldn't have come at a better time!
Hi Everyone! I'm Khandeece and I'm the Email Marketing Manager at Scentbird, a fragrance subscription business. I'm fairly new to the team, but my goal is to deep dive into the email program - understand the cohorts within our database, audit our workflows and optimize the program where possible - personalization included!

Super excited to get my Iterable socks 😃
Hi all. I'm Eoin (pronounced owen), and I work for a company called Kits.com. We specialize in eyecare (both glasses and contact lenses). Right now our company is giving away free glasses (obviously a loss-making endeavour). My goal this year is to remind these customers of how great their glasses were so they'll recommend us to friends and come back and buy more. A key part of this is identifying buying patterns by segment and unlocking the correct timing of our messaging, through personalization and rigorous testing.

Pumped for these socks.
Hi everyone, so great to meet you all and thank you for sharing your goals with the community! Hopefully, together, we can help you achieve them!

For the folks that are interested in learning more about dynamic content, @Ryan Dixon and @Daniela Cos, make sure you check out our user group on Wednesday on that very topic! You can register here.

@Cora Martin have you checked out the mobile workshop we did earlier this year at our conference, Activate? If not, we have a recording of it available in our Academy! We cover in-app tactics!

Hi, I'm Davida and I'm an email and web developer on the marketing team at StorageMart .

One professional goal i have is to reevaluate how we are using our templates and snippets and then clean up and update documentation on that. Reflection and organization seems like a solid Q4 goal 🙂

Hi,

I'm Victoria and I'm recently the CRM lead at Verishop. We are an e-commerce social platform. I have many goals for this year but currently one of my main focuses is to streamline and connect the many platforms that we are using to speak with customers. I'm excited to learn from this group.
@Sarah Lubecki Thanks for the tip! I did attend the conference but was new to Iterable and focused my attention on other topics. I will go back and watch the mobile workshop.
@Cora Martin Great! You can watch it in our Academy, if you don't have access to that yet, let me know and I'll work with your CSM to get you enrolled.
Hi!

I'm Leanne! A CRM Manager for carwow based in the UK!

Keen to understand a bit more about real-time personalisation and the tool available! 😃
Hi,

I'm Ann, I work for Empower. I would love to be more proficient at Iterable and start utilizing all the great functions the platform has to offer. There's still so much to learn and uncover.

These learning weeks are very useful!
Hi!

My name is Frank and I work for Everlywell. One particular goal for me is to get a better understanding of how APIs work and how to leverage datafeeds and metadata to create truly individualized and memorable experiences for our database.
