The end of the year is filled with “best of” lists - books, movies, TV shows and everything else in between. But, this is not about books or movies, this is about us and celebrating the moments that made us proud this year.

What campaign, email, marketing moment made you proud this year? A beautifully designed email 😍?  A 🔥subject line? A campaign that performed well 📈? Whatever it is, go ahead, brag about it!

For me, I was really proud of our awards program, The Iterable Expies. We re-launched it, bigger and better this year and I was so proud to highlight the accomplishments of our customers. Shameless plug, you can check out the winners here

Our team has been doing a lot of work around increased personalization across all campaigns with a focus on retention. Super proud of the team on how we've increased the amount of personalization in our campaigns, increased our testing and started tracking email performance through to meaningful revenue-driving customer behaviors beyond clicks & opens! We have implemented this in our customer nurture journey as well as transactional email strategies to increase engagement and ordering as well as customer's experiences with our products!

We have found that more personalization included in messages that look like they are coming directly from our cofounder or customer experience manager have been particularly effective and have rolled that out in multiple areas.

Being a newbie all around (to my company and Iterable) .......I really couldn't explain the logistics of our Black Friday campaign.... but the engagement stats were amazing compared with our norms..... We had a large flow campaign, including a teaser with follow-ups.... and the engagement.... was awesome! The teaser worked!

I'm also proud of our team like Amy noted above for her company. No only did we onboard to Iterable, we are also integrating tools like Segment and Miso to help improve the data that will be available for personalization. Getting the right information in front of a customer at the right time has been a focus for awhile, but we just didn't have the pieces in place to accomplish it with confidence. The flexibility that Iterable offers us with their architecture is allowing us to grow in this direction.

Kinda a broad one, but it's being recognized internally as one of the company's biggest achievements of the year. Our company's first day on Iterable was December 1, 2020 (previously had been on Adestra), and in that time our team of 3 people created 1,176 email campaigns, an average of 3.2 new emails per day for a year—I think that qualifies as a breakneck pace! We are kind of a unique company in that we represent hundreds of other brands across dozens of industries, so we have to have a lot of very specifically tailored emails for different audiences. As a result we have grown our email program about 2.5x in revenue year over year.
