Hey there,

I'm currently working on creating a campaign template, and I've run into an issue with including an unsubscribe URL. I've tried adding {{unsubscribeUrl}} within double curly brackets in the URL input area of the action section, and attached this action to a button labeled "Unsubscribe." However, when I send a proof email, the button isn't clickable. How can I create a clickable button or link for unsubscribing from the campaign?

Also, I'm looking for assistance in creating a template that complies with the CAN-SPAM law in Iterable. I'd appreciate guidance on achieving this both through Iterable's UI and API. Thank you!

Hi Ahmet, using {{unsubscribeUrl}} is a supported link, and if your project is setup correctly then it should work. Here is our document that confirms you have the correct handlebars.

https://support.iterable.com/hc/en-us/articles/208508736-Subscribe-and-Unsubscribe-Events#emaillink

Since this link is not working for you, it could mean there is a setup issue in your project. In order to look further into that, please have an ASC (or you, if you are an Authorized Support Contact) send an email to Iterable Support so they can go into the specific project you are working in and further advise on how to get it working.

Best,

Will
