Hi there.
I have a seed list that was generated from MailMonitor, and I was successfully able to import it into Iterable; it has 221 users, which is correct.
However, when I try to send a test message targeting that list, it tells me there are 0 recipients.
Is there some setting that I'm missing? Am I forgetting a step in the process? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Hello! When sending a blast campaign to that list in Iterable, Iterable will pull out any users that are not subscribed to either the "Newsletter" Message type or "Email Marketing" Message Chanel. Have you double checked and confirmed that your 221 users are subscribed to both the channel and the message type?
No, they're not. How do I subscribe all members of a list to the Newsletter message type and Email marketing channel?
If you go to the section Audience >>> Lists you can click on channel subscribe users you can upload the users and choose the Email marketing channel check box and that should subscribe all the users to that channel.
bulk subscribing users to a message type is a little bit trickier. Do you use our API endpoints to manage your users subscriptions? And if you wouldn't mind could you provide the project name that you are working in on this? That might help so I can see how things are set up and make a better recommendation on message type subscriptions.
OK, but how do I subscribe the users in my list to the Newsletter message type? I seem to only be able to do that individually rather than all at once.
That's what I was saying about bulk subscribing users to the message type. Would you mind sharing the project name you are working in so I can look at the set up a little bit and see what our options are for this?
The project is called Bloomscape, the campaign is Bloomscape Seedlist Test 7/12 and the list is Bloomscape Seed List 9. Thanks!
Thanks for that info. Ok, so the easiest way to subscribe all of the users in that list, is to create a workflow that is triggered by a scheduled recurring list and then subscribe all the users to the message type Newsletter
And then use a "modify message type" node:
And in there select that you want to subscribe users to the "Newsletter" message type. In my picture here I used my test project's transactional message type as an example.
The entire workflow looks like this:
Then save the workflow and let it run and that should subscribe everyone to the message type. Then you can run your campaign again.
Please let us know if you have further questions.

Thank you, that worked!
