Is there a way to let users resubscribe to your emails/newsletters if it is not instantly after they unsubscribe? For example, they unsubscribe from our emails today but decide they want to start receiving them again in a month. Is there a way to create a workflow or trigger a re-subscription automatically?
Hi Kayla! You can definitely use a workflow to subscribe a user to a specific channel: https://support.iterable.com/hc/en-us/articles/205674425-Workflow-Actions-#modify-channel-subscription. For instance, if you had a custom event triggered when a user wants to resubscribe, that could trigger a workflow and that workflow could subscribe them.
However, there are other options outside of a workflow; for instance, maybe a subscription preference center could be something to consider! https://support.iterable.com/hc/en-us/articles/208463956-Creating-a-Subscription-Preference-Center-
Depending on where and how you’d like a user to indicate they would like to be resubscribed, there are many possibilities for how the setup in Iterable would look to accommodate this. For more strategic guidance regarding this for your specific use case, I’d recommend reaching out to your CSM!
