We're planning on using data feeds to display unique codes and personalized urls. Do we need to append the utm_ parameters to the link itself in the data feed or if we have parameters turned on in the template and defined, will it append the utms to the url?

Hi Janelle,

Our support team would be happy to assist with this. Please open a support ticket and share any details you have regarding your setup and we can investigate further from there. You can reach our team via support@iterable.com or via the chat widget at the top right hand corner of Iterable.

Thank you!

Janelle Brackett - in our templates, when using data feeds, we only have the landing URL coming back in the feed, then in our template we use the handlebars like this for links:

{{custom_attributes.SkuBaseUrl}}?utm_content=oc_suggestedprod

Then with parameters turned on in the template, the rest of the utm data that Iterable appends gets tacked on as well. Just be aware if the URL coming back in your data feed already contains the ? for some element of the URL, which would mean you would need to change your ?utm_content to &utm_content.

Hope that helps!

Kara Sheil thank you!
