We have been working in Iterable for several months and one of the biggest issues we have is how to report on the dynamic elements of our emails. For example we have an element that will only display if certain data is pulled from our main Catalog. This data is updated daily and not related to the user profile. Additionally there would not be a way to assign the flag to the user profiles since the Catalog data is not related to specific users. Obviously we want to know how often this content is featured to get an accurate measure of its impact on our mailing metrics. We have tried several methods to work around this but so far we have been unsuccessful.
The long and short of it is that we need a way to tell what content was featured in our mailings on a per send basis and independent of the user profile. If anyone has run into this issue or used any kind of workaround it would be great to hear about.

Hello John,
Unfortunately, there is not a way to view the exact content of an email that is sent to a user. Especially if the content is highly dynamic and using Catalog Data that will periodically change.
One workaround, you can send yourself or a tester account the emails that you are wanting to view. This solution could also cause trouble since your email or the test email will end up with a large amount of emails. This will also not show you the exact content a specific user will receive.

Hi @Pierce Morrill thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately at the scale we are talking it we would not be able to CC the emails like this.
We really do not need to know the exact content so much as we need to be able to aggregated our metrics based on the content that was included. For instance if we send 1000 emails that could include a special banner based on a catalog or profile field we would want to be able to look at the metrics for the 300 that included it.
Even if it was only available in the webhook that would work for us we just really need a means of slicing the mailing metrics by dynamic content that is generated at the time of send.
