Hi Iterable Community!

I'm currently analyzing the results of an email/push notification drip campaign using the Journeys feature. One of the features used is the split feature, set 25/25/25/25 for this instance. When I collated the unique emails for the Email Opens, I was surprised to see 100% of the users had eventually opened the email. Given the stat, users must really be loyal. I would like to do some due diligence.

How are Open emails signals collected? Could there be any errors?

Thank you for any help anyone can provide!

Hi Andrew Chen could you file a support ticket with support@iterable.com with the information on the campaign in question so that we can take a quick look to rule out any issues.

Opens are tracked via a tracking pixel that Iterable inserts into the email. We talk about opens and how we categorize them here. It might be that the opens are inflated due to pre-fetched or proxy image opens but the support team can help take a quick look.

Cheers,

Alex
