Community Holiday Festival, Day 2: What does the holiday look like for you?

If we learned anything from Hallmark movies, it’s that the Holidays have the power to bring us together — even when we’re apart. But Holiday celebrations differ widely across communities and continents.

With Iterable community members located all over the world, what better way to bring us together than by celebrating what makes our Holidays unique!

To participate, take a picture of what the holidays look like around you, and share it in the thread!

*Share and get 5 points, PLUS, you’ll be entered into a raffle to win a cozy Iterable blanket to warm your holiday spirit. Whether it's 19 degrees or 90 degrees where you are, a blanket always comes in handy!

I am living in two places so heading to Colorado next week where I will put up all the decorations so for now I made a little holiday cheer. Meet Rudolph! (Made from a toliet paper roll).

Michelle H That is adorable! Reminds me of when I was a teacher and would do these types of arts and crafts projects. 🤗

Jennifer Salamh Jennifer Birks That's one beautiful fireplace and decorative setting. The definition of cozy!

Here's a pic of my dog and tree. He's really really curious about the tree but seems to understand that the ornaments are not toys. Smart pup!

I live in Austin, TX where it doesn't get very cold (except during the extremely rare icepocalypse like we had in February)... which makes me very homesick around the holidays for my home state of South Dakota where I was used to lots of snow! So I had to put up a giant inflatable 14' snowman in the yard to help, haha. Of course, my family back in South Dakota is jealous of me... they're sick of snow and would rather have the mild winters. We're definitely a grass is always greener sorta family...

No tree yet but we have a fresh dusting of snow in Michigan!

I'm making Christmas ornaments for some of my family and friends. I usually try at least one new one each year. They say they like them . . . :-)

Just some subtle decorations and Christmas music so set the festive mood.
