Hello!

We are using Iterable as the main platform for sending communications to clients. However, some teams in the company are still using other email platforms and haven't fully migrated to Iterable.

In a scenario where a user decides to unsubscribe from emails on a message sent from Iterable, is there a service, a 3rd party tool out there, that could help us keep in sync the unsubscribes among all platforms? The goal is to avoid this unsubscribed user from still receiving messages sent from the other email platforms since his unsubscribe would be scoped only to iterable.

A "bare-metal" solution I can think of for this would be to build an app with a DB that works as a source of truth for the unsubscribes and integrate this app with all the platforms via webhooks and API calls. But I was just wondering if there is an existing service tool that offers a solution that doesn't require engineering work

Thanks!

Hi mprada

We'd suggest that you set up a preference center via Push Planet that then sync unsubs to each ESP they use. You can also use Transcend, which is more in the compliance and data privacy control space, but would help fulfill the same use case.
