Custom Roles


We understand that every Iterable user is different, and to support the various roles that our customers have, we're excited to release our latest feature, Custom Roles! Admins can use Custom Roles to efficiently manage and scale the Iterable platform to meet their unique business processes and needs. Now customers can create an environment for team members to safely and effectively operate with the appropriate levels of data access and app functionality that's right for their team’s needs.

Mobile Inbox:


Inbox is a new customer-friendly home for in-app messages. In-app messaging proved its value as an effective channel for prompting action during app sessions—tapping into promotions, completing outstanding actions, or learning more about users—but its instantaneous nature can interrupt an otherwise fluid app experience. Unfortunately, your users can’t reread or re-engage with your messages once dismissed.

With Mobile Inbox, we’ve mitigated that disruption and offer marketers a new venue for sharing that same, highly-personalized in-app content in a place that is available for revisiting at any time. Messages are natively stored inside each user’s Mobile Inbox for sorting and recall—just like an email inbox! Message delivery is unobtrusive and conveniently saved.

AMP for Email


AMP for Email offers next-generation email functionality to enable customers to perform actions directly within an email itself or be surfaced the most up to date content available in that email.

With AMP for Email you can perform actions such as:

* Schedule an appointment
* Fill out a questionnaire
* Make a reservation
* Provide your customers with updates, such as shipping status, flight information, news stories, and more!

Hi Sarah! I thought on the webinar they said that we could use this for mobile push messages as well, not just for in-app messages. Looks like it's just in-app after reading more about it, right?
Hi @Amber Radecki thanks for sharing your question. We have designed mobile inbox with a lot of flexibility in mind. For e.g
1. You can build a campaign that sends an in-app pop + also delivers the same message in inbox
2. You can send the message to inbox silently without the in-app pop-up
3. You can set-up cross channel workflows that will send a push message in one channel and then after that send a silent in-app message after
The later will allow you to achieve the use-case that you had in mind. Please reach out to us if you have additional questions
